Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information inwurx.com collects, why, who handles it on my behalf, and what your rights are.

Who I am

This website is operated by 9260-4701 Québec inc., doing business as Média Inwurx International (“Inwurx”), based in Quebec, Canada.

Person responsible for personal information

Fabio Cuffaro, founder of Inwurx, is responsible for the protection of personal information. For any question, request or complaint about your personal information, write to info@inwurx.com.

What is collected

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message, your company and monthly ad spend range if you choose to give them, and the language of the page you used.
  • Technical information: when you visit, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. It is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, including the spam check on the contact form.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement: only if you agree. See “Analytics and cookies” and “Advertising” below.

Please do not include sensitive information, such as health or financial details, in your message.

Why it is used

  • To respond to your inquiry and any related follow-up.
  • To keep the site secure and working, and the contact form free of spam.
  • With your consent, to understand how the site is used and improve it, and to measure the results of advertising.

Your information is not sold, rented or used for unrelated marketing.

Who handles it

A small number of service providers process information on my behalf, only for the purposes above:

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and runs the spam check on the contact form (Turnstile).
  • Postmark delivers contact form submissions to my inbox.
  • Google Workspace hosts my business email, where inquiries are received and answered.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site, so your browser connects to Google’s servers.
  • Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta, where they are used and only if you have agreed to them.

These providers may store or process information outside Quebec and Canada, mainly in the United States. Information leaving Quebec remains protected by the providers’ contractual and security commitments, and these transfers are assessed as Quebec law requires.

Analytics and cookies

The site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising without your consent. Analytics and advertising tags stay off until you accept them, refusing has no effect on your use of the site, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

The spam check on the contact form looks at signals from your browser to tell people from automated programs. It is not used for advertising.

Advertising

This site may use advertising tags from Google Ads and Meta to measure the results of advertising campaigns and, in some cases, to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site. These tags only run with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. You can also manage how these companies use your information for advertising in your Google and Meta account settings.

How long it is kept

Inquiries are kept for up to two years after our last exchange, because prospective clients often return to a conversation months later. They are then deleted. Postmark keeps its copy of each form submission for 45 days. If you become a client, information is kept as long as the work and legal and accounting obligations require.

How it is protected

  • The site and the contact form use encrypted connections (HTTPS).
  • Only I have access to inquiries and to the provider accounts listed above.
  • Those accounts are protected by two-factor authentication.
  • Providers are chosen for their recognized security practices.

No system is perfectly secure, but these measures are proportionate to the information collected. If a privacy incident ever posed a risk of serious harm, the people affected and the Commission d’accès à l’information would be notified, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to:

  • access the personal information I hold about you;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • have your information deleted, unless I am required by law to keep it;
  • withdraw your consent, for example to analytics or advertising tags;
  • receive the information you provided in a commonly used technological format, where this right applies.

Send requests to info@inwurx.com. I respond within 30 days, and may first need to confirm your identity.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how your personal information is handled, write to info@inwurx.com. I will acknowledge your complaint, look into it and reply in writing within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
